Justin Phillips has deep roots in Waukesha County, having lived in the area for most of his life. In 2017, he and his family decided to plant their roots in the Village of Summit, where his wife, Julia Napolitano, had grown up. Since then, their family has grown, and they now have three young daughters. He currently works in economic development, assisting communities, entrepreneurs, and business leaders in accessing opportunities, growing their businesses, and strengthening their communities. This experience will be valuable for him as a trustee.
In addition to his professional experience, Justin is also deeply involved in the community. All three of his daughters attend St. Jerome Parish School in nearby Oconomowoc, where he and his wife are active members of the parish school community. He also serves on the volunteer board for the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts. He is also a member of the Waukesha County Republican Party. He has a good understanding of the political landscape which is helpful for decision-making as a trustee.
When he is not working or volunteering, Justin is an avid fisherman. You can regularly spot him on Silver Lake fishing from his pontoon boat with his daughters, enjoying the natural beauty of the area and fostering a love for the outdoors in his children. Justin's passion for community development and his love for the great outdoors makes him the perfect candidate for trustee in the village of Summit.
We can't spend more than we take in, and we can't rely on state loans to keep our budget balanced
Wisconsin is still a high-tax state and we shouldn't be raising property taxes
Summit is growing, there is opportunity for more housing and business growth but we have to make sure it aligns with Summit's vision and future.
Summit, and Lake Country is an amazing place to raise a family, having a good parks system that provides what residents need is important for families.
In order to have an open, honest and transparent village, Its important that village residents are made aware of whats going on.
In a time of defund the police and revolving door criminal justice system, the Village of Summit must do everything it can to keep residents safe
